‘oh … it’s one of those pyramid scheme then!”

The company you work for is a pyramid scheme then… It is likely that the people positioned at the upper lines are earning more than those placed at the lower lines. But this is merely because they have usually been working in the business for many more years …do you understand the concept of compound?”

My friend: “Yes, but still … it is discouraging”

Me: “It will be how discouraging or as motivating as you make it to be. And since I personally know several individuals in the group I am part of, who eventually earn much more than some of their upline, that is enough confirmation that Usana isn’t a pyramid scheme”

My friend: “I see … interesting, but it seems so unlikely, it must be pure luck or a lot of heavy work”
